Responsive Reading Psalm 106
Leader: Praise the
LORD! O give thanks to the LORD,
for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Who can utter the mighty doings of the LORD,
or declare all his praise?
People: Happy are
those who observe justice,
who do righteousness at all times.
Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people;
help me when you deliver them;
Leader: Both we and
our ancestors have sinned;
we have committed iniquity, have done wickedly.
Yet he saved them for his name’s sake,
so that he might make known his mighty power.
But they soon forgot his works;
they did not wait for his counsel.
People: Many times he
delivered them,
but they were rebellious in their purposes,
and were brought low through their iniquity.
Unison Prayer:
Save Us, O Lord our God,
and gather us from among the nations
that we may give thanks to your holy name
and glory in your praise. Praise
the Lord!

O great and kind Spirit, you have always been and before you nothing has been. There is no one to pray to but you. You are older than all need , older than all pain and prayer. O great and kind Spirit, all over the world the faces of living ones are alike. With tenderness they come out of the earth from which you give us food. Look on your children, fill us with light. Give us strength to understand and to see deeply. Help us as without you, we are nothing… Silent Prayer, concluded with prayer by Pastor Ara, then the Lord’s Prayer in unison. |
